This long road is right in front of you:

the road of one hundred fountains.

One hundred fountains stream by on the visitor's right. Above each one, the Roman eagle alternates with an Egyptian obelisk and, of course, the Este family's coat of arms.

At the end of the path, the head of a giant drinks the ideal river. This is Colias, the huge giant who, according to Greek mythology, drank the water of Lethe, the river of oblivion.

We are dead to ourselves and become pure spirits.

Sphinxes, the true symbols of education, greet us. Guardians of the dream's propylaea, they guide us through this enchanted world.

We died in the Lethe, we shall be reborn by the grace of the Egg fountain.
