Behind this temple to Apollo, grottos open, sheltering astounding fountains
including this one, which I particularly like.
In the near total darkness, a big stone shell lying on the ground spits out sheets of water which are so perfectly orchestrated that they entirely close the grotto's entrance; door to the unknown through dreams.
We turn around, facing the light, and the sight of the three basins through the impressive falling water dazzles us.
Apollo is at the epicenter of the Este garden.
